Corrections and removals

Committed to transparent reviews

RateMyCFIs.com is committed to providing transparent and untampered reviews. For this reason, we will only remove reviews or pages under strict circumstances.

When we will remove content

Misidentification. The page isn't you or describes someone who isn't an instructor or designee.
Duplicates. Two pages for one person get merged, with the reviews preserved.
Safety. If being listed puts you in danger (i.e., stalking, domestic violence, etc).
Violations of SOPs. If a page or review is spam, off-topic, hateful, demonstrates a conflict of interest, etc.

What we will not remove

Negative reviews, or a rating you disagree with.
A page that you feel is costing you business.
Opinions about your instruction.
Reviews from students you don't remember, or don't believe flew with you.

If you've stopped instructing/examining

We will mark your profile as inactive rather than deleting it. Users will still be able to leave reviews, but page details will make it clear you no longer offer services.

Petitioning removal

Reviews can always be reported through the integrated report system, by a page claimant or user, for screening. For more complex issues or to petition the removal of a page email removals@ratemycfis.com and include a link to the page.
