Spin training with Brian was incredible! I hadn't spun since my private and needed the endorsement for my CFI initial checkride. We briefed on the ground for about 45 minutes prior to going up and discussed aerodynamic concepts of spins at an instructor-level depth. He was able to answer every question I had and pointed me towards good resources for further reading. His knowledge is exemplary. He supervised the preflight and pointed out what was important to look for prior to doing aerobatics/spins. Our flight was an hour on the dot. We did ~7 spins total, consisting of both fully developed and incipient. Towards the end, he simulated being a student and put the plane into an unusual attitude, resulting in a spin that I had to recover by taking controls. My positive experience during this training event pushed me to become a spin/UPRT instructor myself! He mentioned he also offers spin training in a Citabria.
